The ranch home on the left is 615 Gun Club Road, Palmerton, PA, and the farmhouse on the right is 665 Gun Club Road, Palmerton, PA. This area of Towamensing Township is known as Stemlersville. The Dunbar family owned the farmhouse and 91 acre farm from March 4, 1848 to June 30, 1970. The land was subsequently sold and subdivided after Melvin W. Dunbar's death in 1969. Much of the formerly clear cut land has since become heavily wooded. The barn in the center of the photo was part of the Dunbar farm and was torn down in the late 2000s.
