This is the Watts Farm, developed by Frederick Watts to take advantage of new/modern/better/scientific farming methods. He was a lawyer, judge, President of the Cumberland Valley Railroad during the Civil War, one of the founders of the Pennsylvania Farmers High School which would later become Penn State University.
