This ten sided house was built by William W. Walker in the mid 1800s. Walker was a conductor on the Underground Railroad and it is likely he used this house to harbor runaway slaves. It is located on Marr Road & Cheriwood Road in New Bedford, PA. The house still exists but the barn has been replaced.

Number PA-37-03 on the Pennsylvania Round Barn List. Here is a closeup photo of the house:

Rumor had that the folks didn’t Ghosts and with no corners in the house you couldn’t get trapped by them.
