Yes, I grew up in this house. My father and mother built this in 1954. We lived in the basement for five years as my father worked in the evenings to build the upstairs. The upstairs has beautiful oak flooring which is now covered with carpet but the wood flooring is there. My parents are now 90 years old and 82. They still live in this house which for years was first heated by coal and wood. Last year my father gave up splitting fire wood; at the age of 89. The house is beautifully maintained inside and out. At the age of 80 my father tore off the side porch and built another addition which we all call the Adirondack room. It has 6 windows and a nice outside door. The room is not heated but in the summer it is a nice sunny room for them. They are in good health which I credit to their always working on the house, planting beautiful flowers and staying involved with family. My son, found this somehow and I only wish I had found this sooner. We are all gathering from near and far to celebrate my dad turning 90 this month.
