One of the oldest houses in Hermitage, east side of Rt. 18. Built in the 1830s. It's now Dr. Joseph's office. Dr. Joseph was married to a Hyde from the Hyde drugstore family of Sharpsville. He had his office in it, then razed it to build a new office behind. Rt. 18 was widened, but in this era there was a spring house at the end of the drive, right on Rt 18. Dr. Joseph and his wife were both great antique furniture collectors. Both are deceased now.

The small window over the front stoop was stained glass. I remember looking for it to be lit up when I rode the bus past it most days.
