Effort General Store on Route 115. The building all the way on the left in this photo has been there as long as I can remember. I believe it was a hotel a long time ago. Today it is a coffee grinder business.
This was a store and post office in Effort was owned by Jackson Serfas and then the Rinker family. The large building on left was the Effort Village Inn now in a coffee shop.
