This is the McDonald's in Mt. Pleasant shortly after it opened. There was a Murphy's Mart in the plaza behind it (Countryside Plaza) which later became Ames, and is now a Peebles. The McDonald's is still there.
any idea when Macky D's opened at this site? i notice the paint, state and payless weren't built yet.

It opened in the early '80s, maybe around 1983? I remember having to go to the New Stanton one prior to that when I was a child, because that was the closest one around.
