2816 Old Forge Road. The house as well as the surrounding structures and tennis court are all still in location. Originally built in 1863 during the American Civil War, the house now known as "Shawnee" was renovated in in the early 1960s after being purchased by the then owner of the Luray Caverns Corperation, when an extension was added onto the backside of the house, lengthening it to be three times it's original size, and included a two-bay underground garage as seen in the photo. Once ran as a farm, the house and surrounding estate has recently been renovated once more, and now serves as a wedding venue operated by the Luray Caverns Corporation, with a large barn to the upper right side (out of frame) serving as the main event space.
