Kingsville.
Wright's Stop In, and Mobil gas station, 5195 Farmville Road, U.S. Route 15, unincorporated Kingsville, Prince Edward County, Virginia. College Road, Virginia State Route 133, tees into, and ends at U.S. 15. View is looking SE.
The white house to the left is the site of the old Fishn' Pig.
When I was a child the building on the left was an old fashioned "country store" which sold all kinds of stuff, like convenience stores do today. My dad used to stop there frequently. They had great comics. It was never a "house" as stated in another post. The building was torn down a long time ago.
Hello Ellenanne
What was your favorite comic that you read from here? Do you know about what year it was torn down?
It was really too long ago to remember what comics I liked (my brother was a big comic fan too--although I do remember one called "Millie the Model." I left PE Co. in 1973, and never lived there afterward although I visited and still do. That building was torn down probably in the 1980's or maybe early '90's, but I'm sure there are people there who would remember better than me.
