This was John and Alice Weatherby's place on Willey's Lake Rd. The story I heard was that the west (right in this photo) wing of the house was actually several rooms from a hotel in Ferndale that was to be demolished when I5 went thru, and the Weatherby's purchased this wing of the hotel and moved it to it's current location somewhere around 1958, and added on to it later. Today the main house sports a second floor, the driveway has changed shape, a pond has been dug by the road, and all the outbuildings are gone and have been replaced by a shop.
