This is the house my great-great grandfather had built. He was a corporal in the civil war for the union army. His name was George Washington Maynor. My grandmother was living in this house at this time. She grew up there, moved away then moved back in the 50’s right before her parents died. We spent many summers in this house and sometimes Christmas holidays. We loved this house, but sadly it is gone now.
