Home built during The Great Depression by Clarence Woodruff Curry and his wife Cora Lillie Garner Curry. Their original home site was needed by the WPA for construction of US Route 250 between Hundred & Burton. Clarence worked for the Baltimore and Ohio (B&O) Railroad that passed through Burton at that time.
