Wow. This farm was homesteaded by the Strassman family in the 1880's. It remained in that family until my wife and I bought it from Anton and Millie Strassman in 1993. We have remodeled the house, preserved all the out-buildings (except the small sq one behind, east, of the house) and planted many trees around the 123 acres. We are glad to have helped preserved some of the local history. How people cleared those rock filled fields along the appropriately named Rocky Ridge Rd (now 73rd St), is amazing!
