Spent 19 years of my life here. I could have swore I was older than 5 when that back shed was built. When I drive by it hurts to look at the farm. Most of the barns were painted white after this picture. Now some of the buildings have been taken down to save on taxes and later on some have collapsed from the lack of good roofs and nature taking over. The shed way in the back was blow over in a strong wind storm in the 80's. My mom and dad have this photo on the wall, except it is not a print it is painted. It has some color issues in the painting like the elevator by the old chicken coop on the right is painted red and green and it is actually silver. A couple more buildings were painted red and are grey metal and greyed out wood. So many wonderful memories here. I wish the family farm market would have stayed strong I would have loved to say my career was in farming the family farm!
