Delavan Town Hall, on Town Hall Road, Delavan.
5621 Town Hall Road.
Two of the four buildings are still there: the mechanic's shed (left, center) and the town hall itself (right center). The garage behind the shed was torn down about 5 years ago (not sure of exact date?)and the building behind the town hall is gone.
I never knew there was a farm in the back! That's funny to imagine cows in that area today.
When this photo was taken, the Carlsens farmed the land surrounding the town hall. They were known for show horses and ponies, and you can see some of them in the field. The cattle are heading down a lane that had a tunnel under Hwy 50 to the pastures on the opposite side of the road.
The Delavan Lake 4-H club met in the town hall for many years.
