The McHenry Moose Lodge 691 (left), chartered in 1953, was located at 2816 W. Rt. 120, McHenry and at this location from 1955 to 1984. The original building was built in 1938 as a restaurant and there were three additions added before the Moose purchased it in 1955. They expanded the building in 1961. In 1975, the building was completely remodeled and a new bar was built. In late 1984, the Moose moved to 3535 N. Richmond Rd. In 1986, this location was the R&C Corral Steak House and Lounge for a short period of time. In 1987, it was Monaco's. In 2003, Monaco's had approval for Arlington Park's off-track betting before it was transferred in 2005. Monaco's continued business until 2014 at this location. In 2015, Daniel Smith and Elizabeth Du Plain purchased the property and today the business is known as Uprooted.

The Carleton Chiropractic Center and Body Shop (right of the Moose) located at 2808 W. Rte 120, owned by Dr. Carleton B. Smith. Dr. Smith formally practiced in Villa Grove and in July 1962 assumed the practice of Dr. Edgar E. Peaselee located at 3616 Main St. in McHenry. In June 1970, Jos. Frett and Sons built this building (above) and opened the chiropractic office. In January 1989, Dr. Scott Spengel joined Dr. Smith and in October of that year Dr. Spengel purchased this property from Dr. Smith. Today, the location is home of Spengal Chiropractic.

The youth baseball field is located behind the McHenry VFW Post 4600.
