A tavern located at what is now 937 S. Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298. Sometime between 2002 and 2005, all the buildings at the site were razed. State Route 3 is seen in the foreground. This highway alignment was moved west also between 2002 and 2005 to provide a by-pass around Waterloo. Note the damaged Welcome to Waterloo sign seen near the bottom of the photo. View looks SW.
Yes this was known as Breezy Hill tavern. Changed ownership and name was changed to Memphis BBQ. For a short time then the building was removed and is farm grounds again. Across the road from R&P Lumber.
