This Church was Haunted, it no longer is there. You could see the shadow of a flower in the amber glass windows, but when you looked inside, it wasnt there. Beautiful old church in Corinth, it was a shame they couldnt save it.

Corinth Zion Church. The land for this church was deeded by John Sutton Roberts, in 1823. (He and his wife are buried in the cemetery, as is Dr. Thomas Roberts, one of the signers of the 1st Constitution of the State of Illinois.When this church was built, (1912 I believe) a time capsule was placed in the cornerstone with stories from the elders in the community. What happened to it? who knows....
