I grew up here. This is a house that my grandfather Emery A Walter built sometime in the early 1900's by moving a small house nearby and combining it with one that was already here, probably by horse. He dug the basement with a horse drawn slip scoop. My father Wayne J Walter also grew up there. The garage was added in 1986. The house & barn are gone now, but the garage is still there.
