I grew up in the house on the right. The small house in the middle has been taken down. There's a gravel pit in the back field between the 2 big houses and a snowsled club behind the house on the left.bthe barns and garage is still standing but the barn has been remodeled to a single story garage. There is now an interstate running south to north along the side of the farm house.
Mae Brisley lived in the little house in the middle
This is the Roy and Mae Brisley farm. They bought it after living and working for McLaughlins in Dyer Brook. After my grandfather, Roy, died, his son Earl and wife, Mary Louise lived here with children, Sandra and Roy. After Earl died, the farm house and building was sold to Raymond Goodall. The little house in the middle was moved to this spot from Island Falls for Mae Brisley to live in. The house on the left was built by Earl Brisley and later sold to Rusty Fowler. Burns and Juanita were the last to farm the land behind the building before I95 came through and took the farm.
