Rte 1 between Caribou and Presque Isle. The only building left is that huge barn. The trees are all gone too.

i hate to think what could've happen on this farm once.

I noticed that the barn is gone. Where was it exactly? Caribou or PI? what is there now? I also even saw a video of the interior of the barn before demolition. Stunning barn.

I lived in that house for at least a couple years (1971-1973) to before we moved up the road to the Jordan Farm. The apple orchard, old house, machine shed and the other newer barn (north of old PT barn) were still in place. In fact, the old house about a 1/4 south was still present and torn down while we lived there. This place created some of the very best memories of my entire childhood (first snowmobile, riding lawnmower, throwing pitches against the barn, etc.). I thank God for that beautiful barn where I "raced" bicycles with my neighbor friend Bobby on the cement floor and jumped from the big rope into the pile of oats on the south end of the barn...even though that was not allowed!

Does the pin on the map appear correct? I looked at the street view and the house near the pin does not have the chimney going up the wall facing the road. Unless the house was redone those things do not usually change.
