This is the farm that Norman Woodbury owned. The road to the left" Dunbar road" is now discontinued on that end and the buildings have been town down to make room for the "new bridge"

If the above comment is correct this is at the modern day intersection of Carter Memorial Drive and Augusta Road in Winslow, ME. All buildings are gone, with the new road passing through near the middle of the house in this picture.

It is the intersection of the new bridge and Augusta road. Johnny Howe and his family lived in the house and his two daughters -one named Nancy- rode the school bus with me in the late 50's. Norman had sheep in the barn. The brick house that is to the right as one goes across the bridge was built for Norman and his wife and she lived there for many years. I grew up a mile from that toward Augusta.

Hello Ellen,
Can you confirm that this is all gone now? Also, does the pin on the map look right?

Yes it is all gone now. The property was purchased and the last building was torn down. The pin is where the house would be as the new bridge went through the property. It is nothing but a memory.

Thank you for confirming Ellen - I'm a local as well and pass through this intersection several times a month. Interesting to think of the property that was once there.
