Union Church on High Street in Buckfield, Maine
Address is 77 High Street. Referred to as "Old Church on the Hill." Built in 1832. Used, over the years, by several denominations. Fell into disuse and poor condition. Rescued by a Buckfield native who donated money for its rehab provided the town purchase it for use as a town hall. Fell into decline again in the 1970s. At that time, its care was taken over by a local nonprofit, and another major rehab was done.
