My brother and I grew up here! I was in third grade and he was in first grade when we moved here. The big trees are gone now,one of which had fallen on the house during a storm. That was scary, our dad was trying to put the window down in the middle top and it was stuck.He told us to run down stairs and get the hammer, we had just got down when we heard a crash and our dad tumbling down the stairs. We were all standing right where the tree hit. God was with us because the hammer was right there by that window. Needless to say if we had seen it we would have been hurt or killed.
