The gas station just to the west of the 20 & 4 Restaurant (photo 2-MHU-27). The empty building is still there.

I lived approx 1 mile north of this photo and worked there in high school (1967-1969 ) fueling trucks at the diesel pumps on the right and cars at the front of the building. Also spent most of my shift time repairing truck tires by hand. Back then there were no tubeless or radial tires, just tubes and flaps.

Is this gas station still there today? What was your favorite part about working there?

The station has been closed for many years. There has been recent activity in the building. Not sure what the future plans are for the property.
I learned something everyday while working there.
