Historic Lyme Village. In the background you can see they're building their second log cabin. All the buildings added to the property are from different areas. They were careful taken down and rebuilt on the property.
They used to have a section of land maintained as a low grass prairie. Most people do not realize that the eastern most extent of the vast US prairies was the Firelands Prairie in nearby Ridgefield Township. These low grass prairies were scattered across the northwestern corner of Ohio.
