The E. Biglow Tile Works, at the north end of Ledgett St, New London. This was a major manufacturer of clay tile pipes, and went out of business due to the popularity of plastic pipes in 1981. New London Tile kept a smaller business there for awhile. The larger buildings were still there in 2006
