The southwest corner of Oberlin Elyria Rd (old Rt 20) and Hale Rd (in the background). This was the Leonard farm in the 1950s and possibly in this photo. It appears to just be a collection of old cars as opposed to an auto scrapyard. The small business across the street is probably the Hughes Packing Co, today the white block building is listed as PC Automotive. The abandoned Twining Ford building would be off the photo to the lower left.
The Junk Yard was Ray Heath's (hope I spell the right). Ray's was the newer house in front. This had to be shortly before that big barn burnt, hot bail I think. They sold the farm house after that, n entrance moved to his house. The yard closed in the 80's after he passed away.
