Stores on Rt 113, Telegraph Rd, east of South Amherst near Rt 58.
The roadway to the left of this shopping center was the original entrance road for The Lorain County Speedway.
This retail strip was known as the Speedway Shopping Center and was, at that time, owned by William Jamie. It was remodeled in the 1970s and a wooden "overhang" added across the front and right side. The name was changed to the trading Post.
The unit to the far right has been a restaurant practically from the time it was built. The current eatery includes both units shown on that end. Various business have come and gone over the years. The oldest business is currently an automotive performance/machine shop which opened in the early 1970s.
