Jerome Elementary School. I am sure this is shortly before it was torn down. A safe and wonderful place tho go tho school. Attended 1975-1979. The good old days.
Ryan School or more recently Jerome Elementary School. The three trees in front of the school in this picture remain to this day. This sat the the "T" of Brock Road and Jerome Rd where Ryan Murphy park is located..
Jerome-Ryan Memorial (Special) School. This school building was razed in the early 1980s. A small cemetery located at the rear of the school yard was bulldozed into the creek along with much of the debris from the school house. The cemetery was destroyed in this process. The cemetery contains the remains of Henry Hensel, a Civil War veteran.
The original building was constructed 1912, and the front addition looks 1950s-60s
