Phillip's 66 Cowboy "Phil" at an old gas station along US-30 before the 4-lane US-30 bypassed this segment of the old highway. My understanding is that these giant cowboys were all along the routes to the west at Phillip's 66 gas stations.

Goz, I think he's been repurposed. He is wearing a regular service station cap instead of the Phillip's cowboy hat and a bow tie and suspenders. It is an "American" station in this photo.
