This building still stands today at 1089 River Road. It has housed numerous small businesses over the years. Notice the backyards of the Workers' Homes in the top of the photo. These homes still stand today and are of local historic significance. Marietta, Lancaster Co., PA

The row homes in the upper left corner were built for the iron furnace workers. This area in the southern end of Marietta has historical significance relative to iron ore manufacturing and also the PA Canal System.
