This was the Hughes Motel, it was located on the east side of Green Bay road just north of Hwy 50. Owned and operated by Frank and Mildred Hughes. Frank was a title winning boxer at one point!

The property is now registered as 'Thao Nguyen Tran MD SC', a pediatric clininc. Francis 'Frankie' Hughes won the national AAU Lightweight Championship, and retired from boxing in 1938. He worked at Simmons for a while and then purchased the motel in 1961. He passed away in 1977 and Mrs. (Mildred) Hughes died in 1992.
