I think this is johnsgerg rd. & the river.

Possibly the old Raymond's Bowl, now Epic Deli site on Chapel Hill Rd across from the old Paradise Cove Motel (now Waterfront) in Johnsburg, IL

Tomasello's steaks & sea food on the left, bowling on the right.

Tomasello’ in Johnsburg.

This is my Grandfathers old place. Tomasello's Pizza and Bowling Alley

Tomasello's was known for it's bowling and good food located at 3312 N. Chapel Hill Rd. in Johnsburg. In June 1953, James Daley sold the Johnsburg Bowling Alley to three brothers: Dom, Sam and Louie Tomasello. The brothers fixed up the Johnsburg Bowling Resort and had a grand opening in September 1956. In October 1958, Tomasello's had another addition increasing their bowling lanes to 12 and changed the name to Tomasello's. In July, 1977, Raymond and Felicia Kuna purchased the business and renamed it to Raymond's Johnsburg Bowl & Restaurant. The Kuna's built a new facility at 3960 Johnsburg Rd. in Johnsburg opening November 2006.

Moved to FL from McHenry in 1968.
Remember fondly, going here for pizza as a young girl. Were there pin ball machines? I seem to remember those.

Granny’s Diner 2022-2023

I went to McHenry high eΓ‘st campus, briefly in the early 70's. I had gone to school with Sally Tomasello.

I grew up in Johnsburg and we went to Tomasello’s often for the pizza and bowling. I loved that place.
