This was the Lovejoy Farm on the Eelweir Road in Pittsfield (renamed the Mount Road). The farm was purchased by Floyd and Charlene Lovejoy on April 2, 1948 where they resided with their sons, Floyd Jr. and Elwood (my father). The farm raised poultry. The farm was sold on December 5, 1968 to Liston and Margaret Inman.
