The cleared lane across the tracks is the southwestern end of the runway for the old Norwalk Airport, and the taxiway headed back to the hangar. Today the tracks are gone and the building is the Havana Cigar Outlet. The field across the tracks is pretty much the only undeveloped land along Rt 250 in this area.
