The southwest corner of Rt 83 and Sugar Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. The miniature golf was newly built in 1969. It is long gone, the gas station building was torn down in 2012.
The small building attached to the house on the left is still there. It appears to be an old storefront. I found a 1954 listing for Gaede's Corner so that is probably it. David Gaede owned both the store and the gas station and lived in the house.
These vintage photos of North Ridgeville are just fantastic. I grew up on 83 in the 60’s and 70’s and this is how I remember it best.
Shari, if you sign up for a free account the map in the lower right corner will have Google Maps on it with street view so you can go right to a present day view of these locations.
